What is your area of expertise?
I’m a designer that combines my knowledge of plants and how they grow best with a unique eye for interior design.
My practice in design management brings value to customers by allowing me to select, source, and deliver plants and products based on research, collaboration and creativity.
In other words, I combine my visual aesthetic with pragmatic design management considerations to help clients enjoy the benefits of a home filled with foliage.

What areas do you work in?
We do the majority of our work in Manhattan near the Stuyvesant Town / Peter Cooper Village community.

Do you do free consultations?
We begin with a free, 30 minute phone consultation to answer questions about our services . During this session we also answer questions about our process and help you determine whether you’d like to move forward with any of our offerings. During this conversation it’s also helpful to discuss any goals and budget you may have for your house plants.

What type of projects do you work on?
While most of our clients are residential, we also can accommodate many commercial clients depending on their needs.

What services does Lyrata Design provide?
We are designers with a passion for plants and growing. Our services can be broken down into two buckets: (1) Design & Planning and (2) Planting & Maintenance. The services are not mutually exclusive and are determined after our full consultation and site visit.

Can you take care of the plants I already have?
Absolutely. We understand that many of our neighbors have plants they’ve had for a long time. Whether you need help repotting a plant that has outgrown its original pot or simply need us to water while you’re away, we’re happy to help.

What happens if my plants die?
We source our plants from quality growers and install them based on the highest industry standards. The plants we deliver and install are guaranteed for 30 days and 90 days with delivery, installation and maintenance. Should the something happen to the plant before then we’ll replace it.
